Lost Episode Creepypasta Wiki

For anyone searching for a way to apply for a staff role (either Bureaucrat, Admin, or Content/Thread moderator), then you needn't look any further than here, where you can fill out the following terms, conditions for each role:

For Thread Moderators:

Thread Moderators have all the tools necessary to properly, and swiftly moderate what the people on the wiki say. This includes but is not limited to: Deleting, Un-deleting, Editing, and Locking other users' posts and comments in tandem with your own. As thread Moderators, your job is the most simple out of all the ranks, that being; keeping discussion constructive and civil. This means keeping hate speech and inflammatory comments to an absolute zero, jokes or otherwise, no exceptions are to be made if whatever discussion in question is found to not be civil, and fair.

If you have any further questions regarding the role of a Thread Moderator, please direct any queries to one of the many administrators currently active on this wiki. Otherwise? Please comment your application for the corresponding role you wish to apply for, so that you can be promptly verified, and reviewed for possible application.

For Content Moderators:

Content Moderators have the inverse role of a Thread Moderator, as instead of moderating users, Content Moderators keep watch of any and all stories posted onto the wiki, and whether or not they abide by the Quality Standards, Overused Cliches, and Blacklisted Subjects articles The abilities of a Content Moderator includes, but is not limited to; Deleting, Un-deleting, Editing, and Rolling back the changes made to certain pages. Of course, this means that if one wishes to apply for this role, they are expected to do a lot, of reading, but this does not only mean of stories, no, this extends to having fully studied the following articles; Style Guide for Writing, How to Write Creepypasta, as well as How To Write A Lost Episode. This is so that the standard at which we hold stories to scrutiny is fully, understood. In fact...

In addition to having studied all of the previously mentioned articles, Content Moderators must write, or have written at least one story, that has been reviewed by an administrator as a prerequisite to applying for an application form.

If you have any further questions regarding the role of a Content Moderator, please direct any queries to one of the many administrators currently active on this wiki. Otherwise? Please comment your application for the corresponding role you wish to apply for, so that you can be promptly verified, and reviewed for possible application.

For Administrators:

Administrators (or Admin/s as a shorthand), have the combined power and responsibilities of both a Content Moderator and Thread Moderator, meaning that they are who enforce the laws and regulations of the wiki, and as such, gain access to most if not all of the site as a whole. This includes but is not at all limited to: Mass category deletion, Mass Un-deletion, Page protection, and being able to view AND restore deleted pages. Like Content Moderators, Admins must also have written at least one quality assured story to be eligible, and have been active for one whole month prior to applying. However, that is not all. In order to be eligible for application, you must first become either content moderator, or thread moderator, before applying. This is of course to make sure anyone with either undesirable traits or nefarious intent, has been properly studied and weeded out, or proven trustworthy enough to attain the privilege, of becoming an Administrator. (However, if activity and or performance exceeds expectations, the time to be accepted may be shortened)

If you have any further questions regarding the role of an Administrator, please direct any queries to one of the many administrators currently active on this wiki. Otherwise? Please comment your application for the corresponding role you wish to apply for, so that you can be promptly verified, and reviewed for possible application.

For Bureaucrats:

Disregarding the actual Fandom staff themselves, being a Bureaucrat is the highest rank one can achieve on this wiki, and gain complete access to all of the wiki's functions without hindrance, from the way the Wiki appears right down to how having your own fancy text to stand out from the rest. On top of this, Bureaucrats are also who dictate the Rules of the wiki, and all those who follow said Rules, however, this does not mean Bureaucrats can make up any, sort of rule, without proper reasoning, as even at the height of authority here, there is still an even greater authority Bureaucrats must follow, and that authority of course is Fandom's staff.

As the zenith of authority here in this humble wiki, you must not only have written at least one administrator approved story, and have been active for one full month prior to applying. But, you must have already climbed the ranks all the way up to the point of being an administrator, for no one who isn't already an administrator is allowed to apply for the role of Bureaucrat. (However, if activity and or performance exceeds expectations, the time to be accepted may be shortened)

If you have any further questions regarding the role of a Bureaucrat, please direct any queries to one of the many administrators currently active on this wiki. Otherwise? Please comment your application for the corresponding role you wish to apply for, so that you can be promptly verified, and reviewed for possible application.

Application Formatting, or what we're generally looking for:

Example submission - I've been thinking it over for a long time, but after how much support I've received as of late, I now confidant enough to say make an excellent Content Moderator, here is why!

I've been around on the wiki for many months now, and in that time I've produced numerous stories which have all seen mass acclaim from the community abroad. Adding to that, I'm generally very well liked in the community, and have great rapport with practically everyone. I believe this is due how I like to approach both reviews and confrontations alike with poise and tact, treating even my critics (whenever they may appear) as how I would like to be treated, that is, with utmost respect and patience.

I've also read the rules (blacklisted subjects, quality standards, overused cliches, etc) from top to bottom, and have applied said rules to every story I've come across. I've even taken the liberty of marking those stories for deletion that I strongly suspect to be in violation of the overall quality standards, which unfortunately, has far outnumbered the amount of good stories so far (nearly a third of the entire website).

Of course if I had it my way? Then not only would the disproportional amount of poor quality stories vanish, but the superior works would quickly rise to the top as well.
