Sick wouldn't be the right word to describe her. She was a twisted, degenerate freak who I thought was a "friend". Her cute persona would hide her disgusting intentions. From just a simple self-shipper to a cruel, twisted criminal. I'm here to tell you, warn you about this woman.
"MaticToManiac", also known as "Ameila J Watson", used to post self-ship art of her hand drawn persona "Cherri", and the character "Animatic" from "Animatic Battle". Well-known animator in her community, she made animations of her and her fictional lover. She was a friend of mine on Twitter, her art wasn't exactly good, but she cherished it. As the months went by, she became more aggressive, mysterious and depressed. She cut off many of her friends, which led me to comfort them. She was weird, I needed to go investigate.
I looked up her name on various social media until I discovered that she had ongoing documents, exposing her unexpected aggressive behavior. She was apparently manipulating various other self-shippers who shipped the same character as her. I decided to check up on her, to see if these documents were fake and I could confront her. I must've been so, so stupid. The following messages were a conversation I had with her after the documents.
Me: "Hey Cherri I noticed that you've been getting a lot of hate and accusations recently, and I'm here to ask, are these false?"
Amelia: "..."
Me: "Uhm?"
Amelia: "are you not proud of me or something :/"
Me: "What the hell are you talking about?! You literally got exposed, why are you saying that?"
Amelia: "you'll see. i'll make my dearest matic proud :)"
Me: "You're creeping me out! Cut it out, just tell me."
Ameila: "DO I HAVE TO REPEAT MYSELF ;( I ALREADY FUCKING TOLD YOU."
Me: "You're worrying me out!"
No respond.
Me: "Cherri?"
Me: "Cmon don't worry me."
End of conversation.
She weirded me out, not to mention the sudden erratic behavior. I brushed it off as she had bad mental health at the time and just went to bed. Which was a really bad move.
As I woke up, I did my usuals. Checking my socials to see if any sudden news happened while I rested. It was just that. I was welcomed to a horrifying "vent" post made by Amelia. Titled "im sorry, be proud.". It was her cheerful persona in a realistic, dark room. She was holding what seems to be a pixelated knife coated with a dark red substance. An unstable, depressed, dead expression was visible on her face. Pixelated blood was smudged on her clothes and face. Red, bold words beside her character read the words.
"ive done it.
you will be proud
aren't you proud?
you will recarinate and be proud.
of my achivements and sacrifices.
i plead, my dearest matic."
That wasn't all, there was one last post before she disappeared, a blurry photograph of a drawing she made. Her persona looking back at us, a poorly drawn dead person behind her. That's when I made the conclusion.
She murdered someone.
SHE FUCKING MURDERED SOMEONE! FOR A DAMN FICTIONAL CHARACTER!
That was the final straw, adrenaline hit, I blocked and reported her on every social media she was on. I nearly threw my phone in anger on how stupid I was. How stupid I WAS to trust that ABOMINATION! I never looked back, I never did. I don't want to be reminded of that freak. She's probably arrested, I learned that she killed her mother and sister, who were the only people living at the estate. She apparently was a part of various cults. Amelia J Watson, she was around 16 years old. Wherever she is, I hope she's banished from ever touching an electronic again and rotting in prison or getting the help she needs.
