Please write a coherent story, if it's good, great! If it's "bad?" Or not a story at all? Alright, we'll workshop it or delete it if it's the latter. If it is offensive and/or an assault on mankind's eyes? Yeah, we'll get rid of it. All we ask is that you don't circumvent the whole idea of writing your own story, by relying solely on AI. You can ask your teacher to markup your work, but you can't have them write the paper for you. The same idea goes for AI-assisted works (see guideline 5 below).
Blacklisted Subjects
Listed below are the aforementioned above offenses/assaults to mankind's eyes, as in things to actually look out for considering we do cater to a site filled with 13 and above, so by all means, please exercise some restraint in your newfound creative freedom through the following guidelines:
- No excessively detailed gore and violence such that it is extremely unnecessary and serves no purpose beyond shock and awe (shock value, essentially).
- No graphically detailed sex-scenes of any sort. It can be mentioned, referenced or implied, but never directly shown/described. I should not have to point out why this especially must be followed without exception.
- No promotion of hateful ideas meant to discriminate other groups, such as overt racism or homophobia.
- Do not write anything that defiles the dead or horrendously defaces a real person.
- AI-written stories are strictly prohibited, however AI-assisted stories (as in ChatGPT or other AI contemporaries) are allowed so long as it's disclaimed plainly at the start of your story, not at the end or the middle, at the start without exception.
- Your story must be an actual story. If it does not have at least a vague semblance of plot? It does not belong here.
- As per usual, no Trollpastas. Go over to their wiki if you wanna do that, we're trying to make horror stories here.
- Stories that represent Spinpasta/Creepypasta Fanon trends aren't allowed here, as they are either way too difficult to take seriously, poorly written, or plagiarize other works that aren't good to begin with. Unless you genuinely want to fix these, and you put effort in your rewrite, don't publish.
Attempts to get around these rules by posting stories on these guidelines (that is, the content itself, not offsite links) as blog posts, on the forums, on your userpage or on your Talk page, will either result in a warning or block if you continue.
